Asian Volleyball Championship: Second round starts today

TEHRAN: Pakistan drawn in Group E will re-launch its campaign by taking on hosts Iran in the second round of the Asian Men’s Volleyball Championship will be played from Sunday (Sept 25) in Tehran.

A spokesman of Pakistan Volleyball Federation said here on Saturday that in the second round, the winning eight groups will compete in group E and F on their 1st-8th rank; the other eight teams will compete in group H and G on 9th-16th rank.

The formation of the groups is,

Group E: Iran, India, Japan, and Pakistan

Group F: China, Sri Lanka, Australia, and South Korea

Group G: Chinese Taipei, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, and Thailand

Group H: Indonesia, Uzbekistan, Qatar, and Turkmenistan

Following is the match programme of unday, Iran vs. Pakistan, India vs. Japan, China vs. South Korea, Sri Lanka vs. Australia, Chinese Taipei vs. Thailand, Afghanistan vs. Kazakhstan, Indonesia vs. Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan vs. Qatar.
