Pakistan beat India to clinch kabaddi gold in Asian Beach Games

COLOMBO: Pakistan outshone arch rivals India to win the Kabaddi gold of the South Asian Beach Games at Hambantota, Sri Lanka on Tuesday.

In the ultimate showdown, Pakistan overcome India with ease and comfort 42-33 after demonstrating astute planning and vast stamina on part of its never say die players.

Teams from Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Maldives and Afghanistan participated in the kabaddi event.

Nasir Ali led victorious Pakstani team whose other members are, Wajid Ali, Abrar Khan, Muhammad Khalid, Akhlaq Huassain and Atif Waheed. Ahmed Nadeem was the coach and Raja Ansar acted as manager.
