Aamir Atlas, Maria Toor clinch COAS C’ship titles
ISLAMABAD: Top Pakistani squash players Aamir Atlas Khan and Maria Toor Pakay won their respectie men’s and women’s titles in the Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) Squash Championship 2010 which concluded Friday at Mushaf Squash Complex.
As per the information sent to The Sports Encounter, Aamir Atlas Khan, who ranks 20th in the world circuit, played brilliantly against his cousin Farhan Mehboob in the final and took only 30 minutes to record a convincing 11-8, 11-3, 11-8 triumph.
In the women’s event, Maria Toor Pakay proved too good for Moqaddas Ashraf and she just needed 19 minutes to claim the title registering a formidable 11-3, 11-6, 11-9 victory.
