Baseball: MLB: Lind batters Harrison as Toronto sink Rangers
ARLINGTON, Texas: Adam Lind produced two home runs as the Toronto Blue Jays crushed the Texas Rangers 10-3 in their Major League Baseball match played here on Tuesday night.
Most of the Toronto Blue batters found the mid of their stick against opposing pitcher Matt Harrison as they scampered to 10 runs as against Texas Rangers’ 3 runs in their home ground.
Adam Lind was in spectacular form as he not only smashed two home runs but also finished with five RBIs but other batters also enjoyed good time against Harrison as the visitors scored five times in the first inning.
With runs coming by easily for Toronto Blue Jays they found little difficulties to defeat their opponents in the second game of the four-game series.
Adam Lind, while talking to reporters, said, “I just had a good game tonight. Jose (Bautista) has been walking a lot and you can tell people don’t want to pitch to him. I just want to give him protection.”
Jesse Litsch, Toronto Blue Jays starter, tossed the ball for six innings and only went for three runs, all of them scored in the second innings when Julio Borbon was able to score two RBI single.
