In an exclusive chat with the TSE scribe, Jan Muhammad Baloch said that Pakistan Boxing Federation’s (PBF) General Secretary Akram Khan was also involved in ruining the sports of boxing.
“I don’t know exactly when they did that job, but I know it happen usually in international boxing and a number of Pakistani referee judges are also part of this rampant mafia”, he claimed.
Jan Muhammad Baloch, who served Pakistan boxing as coach for over 15 years, further stated, “When I was with boxing federation or boxing team there was not enough money in boxing but now boxing federation has a lot of money but they are not spending that amount on boxing and are looting the budget with both hands”.
Jan Baloch, who represented Pakistan in the Munich Olympics, claimed, “I know PBF’s secretary general since last 20 years. He didn’t have a single dime in his kitty at that time but know he has a new car with security grads and a solid bank account as well.
“He has grabbed all of these things by dint of corruption and I hereby appeal anti corruption officials to take action against the corrupt boxing federation officials”, he said adding, “I also appeal sports board’s chief and national and Senate’s sports committees to take stern action against them and ask accounts status”.
It’s important to mention here, Pakistan Boxing Federation is facing severe criticism over corruption, while the local media has also reportedly alleged that PBF’s general secretary is involved in human trafficking.
