President Cup: Pakistan Boxers leave for Jakarta tonight

KARACHI: Pakistani boxing team will leave for Jakarta, Indonesia tonight at 2330 PST (1830 GMT) from Jinnah International Airport, Karachi to take part in the 21st President Cup International Boxing tournament.

The 21st President Cup International Boxing tournament is starting in the Indonesian capital from July 3rd and will conclude on July 7th.

Earlier, Pakistan Boxing Federation (PBF) announced the name of the boxers who are representing Pakistan in the tournament.

As per the information received by The Sports Encounter, Pakistani team consists of Muhib Ullah (49KG), M Waseem (52KG), Syed M Hussain (56KG), Amir Khan (64KG) and Arshad Hussain (69KG). Ali Baksh is accompanying the team as coach and Lal Shah as Assistant coach while Syed Muhammad Sharif will travel with the team as a referee judge.

Pakistani boxers and team officials will reach at Jinnah International Airport at 2130 PST (1630 GMT) while their flight will take off at 2330 PST (1830 GMT).
