TSE Exclusive: Rotation policy for ICC presidents to stay intact

MUMBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) will continue to retain the rotation policy for the president, The Sports Encounter has learnt.

According to the Dubai-based sources, the ICC Board members, in the first meeting of the year on Tuesday, showed “no opposition” to the present system at least till the full cycle is over and hence Mustafa Kamal, the present BCB chairman can still be hopeful.

“There is no other nomination from Bangladesh”, the source added before leaving for the party hosted by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), who is also hosting the series against England.

Isaac will take over from incumbent Sharad Pawar, followed by a nominee from Pakistan/Bangladesh in 2015.

“Lord Wolf did a presentation today via verbal speech and power-point. The Board members are given a copy of his 60-70-page-report to study tonight before being discussed on Wednesday”, the sources added.
