Els at striking distance of 2nd successive tour win

ORLANDO: A relaxed Ernie Els of South Africa is all set to win his second successive PGA Tour win as he finished Arnold Palmer Invitational third round with a shot lead over Ben Curtis of US Saturday.

The South African golfer, who also won this month’s WGC-CA Championship, was at three-under 69 to finish the day on 10-under 206, while Curtis (70), who has not put even single bogey in the 31 holes, finally came up with it in the 16^th and 17^th round to lose the lead.

Following on third was Chris Couch (69) of the US, who was just three shots behind Els.
