National Bank, Punjab Greens win their matches

LAHORE: National Bank and Punjab Green won their matches in Super Eight round of 29^th National Junior Hockey Championship Wednesday played at National Stadium Lahore.

In first match, Punjab Greens beat Punjab Whites by 4-1. Greens were leading by 3-1 at half time. Tahir Ali scored the opening goal for Greens in the sixth minute. Rizwan Ali scored the second goal in 12^th minute while Mohsin Sabir scored in 29^th minute. Fareed Ahmed scored the solitary goal for Whites in 32^nd minute. Shahid Jamal scored the fourth goal of Punjab Greens in 54^th minute.

National Bank beat Custom by 2-0 in second match of the day. It was 0-0 at half time. Mohammad Junaid scored the opening goal for National Bank in 41^st minute while Faisal Qadir doubled the lead in 69^th minute.
