MASTERS GOLF: Tiger Woods looks to find form at Augusta

AUGUSTA: The struggling golf star Tiger Woods is upbeat to find his form and rhythm in the international circuit as he scored 71 that put him six strokes off in the opening round on Thursday in Master golf tournament at Augusta National Golf Club, Augusta.

Tiger Woods had gone through the difficult phase of his life in the last one year where he also suffered separation from his wife after girl friend scandal last year. The incident also hit his form badly in the Golf where he failed to win any title in last 17 months.

“I’m right there in the ball game. I’m only six back and we got a lot of golf ahead of us,” said Tiger Woods.

Rory Mcllory was the top scorer in the opening round at Augusta as he scored seven-under-par 65 on a perfect day for gold here at August National.

“I hit a lot of beautiful putts, a lot of beautiful putts. And they were just skirting the edge, so hopefully they will start going in. Most of the putts looked like they should have gone in. I felt really good over the putts today and I hit a lot of good ones. I would rather be where Rory’s at. But, hey, it’s a long way to go. We have a long grind ahead of us,” Woods added.
