Pakistan to face arch-rival India in final of IHF Handball Challenge Trophy

DHAKA: Pakistan will face arch rival India in final of EXIM Bank International Handball Federation Challenge Trophy Saturday afternoon.

In the semi final Pakistan outsmart host Bangladesh by 33-24 goals played at Mirpur Shaheed Suhrawardi National Indoor Stadium. At half time Pakistan were leading by 14-8. Zubair netted 11 goals for Pakistan while Mubeen scored nine goals. Sudhan scored nine goals for Bangladesh.

In the other semi final India convincingly beat Yemen by 45-18 goals.  Ningy scored 10 goals for India while Deepak, Shamsher netted nine each.

The final between Pakistan and India will be played at 03:00pm local time at the same venue today.
