PGF announces squad for Asia Pacific Championship

KARACHI: Pakistan Golf Federation (PGF) has announced four-member squad for World Junior Golf Championship which will be held at Hua Hin, Thailand from November 11 to 14.

 

 

 

 

The team comprises of two boys and two girls which were selected by Pakistan Golf Federation after taking trials in Lahore.

 

 

 

The team includes Mubariz Ahmed from Karachi Golf Club (category A boys), Aman Tariq from Islamabad Golf Club (category B boys), Nush Mia Sukhera from Lahore Gymkhana (Category A girls) and Nabaa Rafi from DHA Golf Club (category B girls).

 

 

 

A 14-year-old Mubariz played exceptionally well in Juniors Open Golf Championship at St. Andrews, the Mecca of golf, Scotland in July this year where he finished eighth among players from 65 countries.
