Cole suggests hard work for The Reds

LONDON: New addition in Liverpool, Joe Cole has suggested more hard work and effort from his team-mates in the upcoming season of English Premier League.

Liverpool will start their Premier League campaign against the Arsenal on next Sunday at Anfield with new team manager Roy Hodgson will also make his debut with Liverpool in EPL. Liverpool had a poor start in their last EPL season when they lost two of their three matches and this season, they also have a matches against Gunners and Red Devils in the first five fixtures.

“We‘ve had two competitive games now and we’ve got Fernando Torres, Dirk Kuyt, Pepe Reina and the others to come back. We’ve got a lot to work on and there is a lot for us to do. We’ve got to come together and continue to improve,” he said.

“We have to keep working hard every day on the training pitch and go from there. We know we’ve got a long way to go. You can’t assess anything on the first six games of the season, you have to judge us in May. All Premier League games are tough; sometime the ones that seem easier are the ones that turn out to be the tougher ones,” he added.
