FA CUP: Tevez to miss Manchester derby on Saturday

LONDON: The star Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez will miss the Saturday’s FA Cup semi final clash against Manchester United at Wembley due to hamstring injury.

Manchester City’s manager Roberto Mancini has confirmed that Tevez won’t be available for the semi final encounter on Saturday due to injury and he may need about three to four weeks to recover from the injury.

The Argentinean striker Tevez is the prolific goal scorer for Manchester City this season as he is on the second spot in the Premier League top goal scorer list with 19 goals, just two behind top scorer Manchester United’s Berbatov who scored 21 goals so far in this season.

“Tevez is not available for Saturday. I think he will recover in three or four weeks. It is a big problem but we can’t take any risks,” Mancini said.
