Manchester United are currently leading the points table with 73 points and their arch rivals and defending champion Chelsea are chasing them with just six points behind. Red Devils due to play their most important match on Sunday against Arsenal and they are favourites to win the tie even-though they will play the match in Emirates Stadium at Gunners backyard.

Manchester United will play their last league match of this season against Blackpool and as the competition is getting tougher and tougher, the fans and experts are predicting the EPL title race may decide in the last match this season.

“There is still drama ahead. The teams at the top will drop points, including Chelsea. Two months ago everyone was looking at these two games as league deciders. They probably are now. But if we get to the last home game needing to win it to win the league, I would be happy with that,” Ferguson said.

Sir Alex Ferguson.

Ferguson admitted that Manchester United have two very tough matches to play i.e. against Arsenal and Chelsea but he is confident that the recent form of Red Devils will help their cause. “The slant I seemed to be getting is that Arsenal and Chelsea are expecting to win these games and change the top of the league. Why can’t we win these matches? Surely, given the form we are in, we can. It is not going to be any easier for Arsenal or Chelsea than it is for us. These are difficult games. A point away from home at Arsenal is not the worst point – but that is not what we are going down there looking for,” he added.
