UEFA Champions League: First Leg Quarter Final to start today

MADRID: The first leg of quarter finals of UEFA Champions League will start today with as Spanish club Real Madrid will host English club Tottenham Hotspur while Inter Milan will host the German Bundesliga club Schalke.

The good news for nine-time winner Real Madrid is the return of their star striker Cristiano Ronaldo as they are making their first appearance in Champions League quarter final in last seven seasons. The English football club Spur will make their debut in the Champions League quarter finals today.

The former Real striker Raul will lead his German Bundesliga Schalke in their quarter final tie against the defending champion Inter Milan. Inter Coach Leonardo praises the former Spanish striker Raul and said, “He’s one of the all-time greats. He chose to leave Madrid for another country and is still dictating things.”

In other quarter finals which will be played on Wednesday, Chelsea will meet their English Premier League arch rival Manchester United while Barcelona will host Shakhtar Donetsk in their quarter final encounter.

    Spurs are coming as undrdogs en am sure they have to make it happen,while Untd is better for this season.
