India’s Remarkable Comeback against Australia in the World Cup Opener
Chasing down Australia’s set target might’ve seemed like a steep uphill task at the onset of India’s innings. Yet, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul’s powerful partnership turned the tide, helping India secure a victory by six wickets in their first match at the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.

India faced an early jolt, losing three wickets in a mere 12 balls, standing shaky at 2/3. Australia must’ve sensed an easy win, but that was until Kohli and Rahul’s bats began to talk.
